We are delighted to present a jewel-like Christmas cocktail that reflects the enchanting beauty of Samarkand, the “City of Blue.”
Our bartenders crafted this special creation after speaking with the bar team at JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent, drawing inspiration from local ingredients and aromas cherished in Uzbekistan.
This cocktail brings together oriental spices such as clove with botanicals deeply rooted in Nara—Yamato tōki, Yamato tachibana, and kihada—uniting two distant lands in a single glass. The gentle sweetness of vodka and white chocolate liqueur is layered with the complex fragrance of spices and botanicals.
The deep, luminous blue filling the glass evokes the sky of Samarkand and the iconic blue tiles that adorn its historic mosques.
Please enjoy this festive-season cocktail where the scents of faraway Uzbekistan meet those of ancient Nara.
